On Android you may need to allow installing from unknown sources to open the APK.
The Windows, Mac and Linux downloads are the DrakME launcher. It brings its own Java runtime, installs the game on first start, and checks for updates every time you play — so this is the only download you ever need. Nothing else to install.
On Windows and Linux it also repairs a missing OpenGL driver by itself, so older PCs work without a separate download.

Note: DrakME is a private server. Always download the launcher from this official page — files from anywhere else may be unsafe.
